Even if you create labels/filters you waste your time in skimming all the mails. Best thing is: Be Ruthless in what you’ll get as mail. Stop all notification/alert from any website/social-network. If you are getting some important updates get them daily/weekly instead of single mails. Be ruthless in unsubscribing yourself from unwanted lists. Mark mails spam whenever you fill that its unwanted.
